Geranium Macalatum

This flower is known commonly as the "wild geranium". It grows in the North eastern US, usually along roads and in partially shaded foliage. Wild Geraniums tend to be a pale pink, deep pink, or lilac. We found this flower growing along the side of a road in a local park in the foliage. The Wild Geranium ranges from 1.5 to 2 feet tall, and spreads 1 to 1.5 feet. They bloom between the months of April and May.

Erigeron

Otherwise known as fleabane, and sometimes even called a daisy, this flower can be found all over Syracuse. If you pass by any open grassy area your bound to see at least one patch of these around. Their flowers are small with many thin white petals surrounding a yellow center. At times though, the petals can turn a pinkish color.
